#악인과복

“의인의 머리에는 복이 임하거늘 악인의 입은 독을 머금었

느니라”

인생에서 복은 악을 통해 얻을 수 없다.

​

어떤 이들은 부와 권력은 독하지 않으면 지킬 수 없다고 말

한다. 독해야만 부와 권력을 쥘 수 있다고 해석하는 것이다.

​

하지만 분명히 알아야 할 게 있다. 하나님께서는 악인에게

복을 줄 생각이 없다는 사실이다. 악인의 입에는 상대를 해

하는 독이 가득하므로 언젠가는 제거될 운명에 처해 있다.

​

그래서 성경에서는 악인이 갑자기 사라진다고 표현하고

있다. 부와 명예를 거머쥔 사람이 있다고 해도 그 가운데

행복은 없다. 진정한 행복은 하나님으로부터 임하기 때문

이다.

​

사람들의 학문으로는 행복을 제대로 정의할 수 없다. 이

세상 학문으로는 신을 발견할 수 없고 그렇기에 행복도 그

가운데 있을 수 없다. 이것을 누가 알까?

​

“Blessings crown the head of the righteous, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked.”

​

In life, blessings cannot be gained through evil.

​

Some people say that wealth and power cannot be secured unless one is ruthless. They interpret it as the meaning that only those who are cruel can hold wealth and authority.

​

There is something we must clearly understand: God has no intention of blessing the wicked. The mouths of the wicked are full of poison that harms others, and therefore they are destined to be removed in the end. This is why Scripture describes the wicked as disappearing suddenly.

​

Even if someone acquires wealth and fame, there is no true happiness in them. True happiness comes from God alone.

​

Human wisdom cannot properly define happiness. Through worldly learning, God cannot be discovered, and therefore happiness cannot be found there either. Who can truly understand this?
